Pretty sure they need barcodes to give you an instant quote. That's how their system works.

I don't think so. Their whole process revolves around scanning the ISBN/barcode. Without it, they can't value it automatically. You might have to try selling those elsewhere.

They usually give you an option. You can pay for return shipping, or they'll just dispose of them.

I had one rejected book once because I missed some writing in it. They offered to send it back for a fee or just recycle it. I just let them keep it, wasn't worth the hassle for one book.

They're a real company, based in the UK I think. Had a friend sell a whole box of books and got paid via PayPal pretty fast. Just make sure your books are in good shape, they can reject them if they're too beat up.
